Food and Beverage Manager - Embassy Suites by Hilton Downtown Tampa Convention Center (HOT0CB2S)
The upscale Embassy Suites Tampa Downtown Convention Center is seeking a full-time food and beverage manager to join their team. This 360-suite hotel is connected by skybridge to the Tampa Convention Center and is located near Benchmark International Arena, the Florida Aquarium and Port Tampa Bay. In this position, you will report to an assistant director of food and beverage, as well as a complex director of food and beverage.
You will oversee the evening/PM food and beverage operations in the Taste, Market, Starbucks, In-Room Dining and Pool Bar (seasonally) outlets.

ResponsibilitiesAs a Food & Beverage Manager you would be responsible for directing and organizing the activities of the Food & Beverage departments to maintain the high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service.

Plans and directs the functions of administration and planning of the Food & Beverage department to meet the daily needs of the operation.
Implements effective controls of food, beverage and labor costs.
Ensures compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards.
Helps ensure high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits and ensure outstanding customer service.
Interviews, trains, supervises, counsels, schedules and evaluates staff.
QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess a minimum of two years of restaurant or food and beverage management experience. Prior multi-outlet/hotel food and beverage leadership experience is an asset.
