This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during nighttime hours, providing exceptional service to our guests and maintaining the accuracy of financial records.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Night Auditor is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial records, providing exceptional guest services, and maintaining the security of the hotel during nighttime hours.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Financial Reporting:
  Accurately balance daily financial transactions and prepare comprehensive nightly audit reports.
• Guest Services:
  Manage guest check-ins and check-outs and address any inquiries or requests from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am.
• Security Oversight:
  Ensure the safety and security of the hotel during the night shift.
• Accounting Duties:
  Audit, balance, post, and report on front desk, rooms, and food and beverage outlets’ cash and credit transactions.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school or equivalent experience is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Proficiency in accounting and financial reporting.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Yardi experience is helpful but not required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• This position may occasionally require lifting luggage up to 50 pounds.
