• Location: Tampa, FL - St. Joseph's Women s Hospital Breast Center

• Status: Full Time (non-exempt)

• Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (may vary)

• Effectively and efficiently addresses the needs of both internal and external customers when scheduling patients by carefully collecting demographic, insurance, and procedure information

• Accurately schedule procedures

• Deliver complex clinical examination instructions

• Document patient response to clinical questions

• Keep the patient s physician and hospital offices current with information about their scheduled procedures

• Schedulers must be familiar with payer guidelines for balancing authorization requirements with scheduled appointment dates

• Perform general clerical support that includes answering telephones, data entry, communication, and other assigned duties

• Must be flexible and willing to rotate shifts periodically

• Must be able to travel within the Bay Care Health System area using personal transportation.

• High School or Equivalent

• Required 1 year customer service or

• 1 year healthcare or

• 1 year business related
