Location: Tampa, FL - St. Joseph's Women s Hospital Breast Center
Status: Full Time (non-exempt)
Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (may vary)

ResponsibilitiesEffectively and efficiently addresses the needs of both internal and external customers when scheduling patients by carefully collecting demographic, insurance, and procedure information
Accurately schedule procedures
Deliver complex clinical examination instructions
Document patient response to clinical questions
Keep the patient s physician and hospital offices current with information about their scheduled procedures
Schedulers must be familiar with payer guidelines for balancing authorization requirements with scheduled appointment dates
Perform general clerical support that includes answering telephones, data entry, communication, and other assigned duties
Must be flexible and willing to rotate shifts periodically
Must be able to travel within the Bay Care Health System area using personal transportation.
High School or Equivalent
Required 1 year customer service or
1 year healthcare or
1 year business related
