- Conducts gap analysis to identify organizational needs for Pathway and/or Magnet Designation.
- Consults with executive and frontline teams for implementation of Pathway and Magnet elements of performance.
- Manages coordination and project management of Pathway or Magnet document and submission to the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
- Coordinates and plans for Pathway or Magnet Survey.
- Facilitates Shared Governance Committee (SGC) meetings and activities.
- Advises shared governance committee on continuous implementation of Pathway and/or Magnet Program Elements of Performance.
- Supports frontline teams in planning and implementing initiatives for clinical excellence.
- Acts as the executive team’s liaison to frontline teams through SGC, including periodic reporting to Medical Executive Committee.
- Provides expert Performance (PI) consultation to frontline teams at unit-based councils and committees.
- Promotes positive outcomes, productivity, adaptability, resilience, and optimism using Orange Frog’s positive psychology techniques.
- Plans and implements employee engagement and advocacy programs focused on retention.
- Provides regular training courses on evidence-based Performance Improvement methodology and data-driven decision making.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s of Nursing (Required)
- Master’s Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) – EV Accredited Issuing Body
- Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) – EV Accredited Issuing Body
- Registered Nurse (RN) – EV Accredited Issuing Body
- Six Sigma – EV Accredited Issuing Body
