This is an advanced specialty training position with individualized learning and experience goals designed to develop advanced skills within radiation oncology. These Instructor-Members have completed all required formal training to practice within radiation oncology and will bill for some services during autonomous and mentored practice within the Cancer Center. Some clinical responsibilities and expectations are similar to an Assistant Member, with a portion of time dedicated to additional training in the identified target area.

The training component is overseen by one or more Academic Faculty (MMG or MRI), under the direction of an appropriate Institutional Leader.

Practices medicine within the scope of authority and privileges granted by Moffitt Cancer Center. Provides patient care under the auspices of Moffitt Medical Group, and serves as a member of the academic medical enterprise, contributing to the institutional mission of preventing and curing cancer. The position may span the clinical and research enterprise, and supports patient care, research and education. The Department Chair will allocate the position's effort between clinical, research, educational and administrative activities.

• MD or Equivalent
• Complete a residency fellowship in radiation oncology at the time of appointment
