Overview
SUNSHINE PEDIATRICS of FLORIDA is a growing company!
We are hiring a bilingual full-time medical assistant/front desk receptionist. Responsibilities include scheduling, referrals, authorizations, triage and intake of patient histories, administering and storing vaccinations, and performing labs (including COVID/FLU, Strep, RSV, etc.). Must have medical office experience dealing with patients, parents, employees, and insurance representatives. Willing to work daytime, evenings, and weekends per rotating schedule. Be familiar with EMR, Word, Excel, and Microsoft Teams.
Responsibilities- Schedule appointments
- Manage referrals and authorizations
- Triage and intake patient histories
- Administer and store vaccinations
- Perform labs (including COVID/FLU, Strep, RSV, etc.)
- Interact with patients, parents, employees, and insurance representatives
- Maintain familiarity with EMR, Word, Excel, and Microsoft Teams
- Medical office experience dealing with patients, parents, employees, and insurance representatives
- Willing to work daytime, evenings, and weekends per rotating schedule
- Familiar with EMR, Word, Excel, and Microsoft Teams
- Education:
High school or equivalent (Preferred) - Experience:
Customer service 1 year (Preferred) - Experience:
Medical terminology 1 year (Preferred) - Experience:
Computer skills 1 year (Preferred)
