Job Summary
Under supervision of the Radiology Section Manager and according to established policies and procedures for various age groups of patients, performs diagnostic ultrasound imaging, vascular and Doppler Technology to assist Radiologists in the diagnosis and treatment of illness. Evaluates processed sonographs to ensure that they are of acceptable quality. Assesses the age‑specific needs of the patients we serve. Also responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital.
Qualifications- Education:
Completion of Sonographic Imaging program from an accredited school. - 2 years on the job training in a supervised setting within an ultrasound department.
- Current BLS certification required.
- RDMS registered.
- Experience:
Two (2) years clinical experience/responsibility in an ultrasound department.

ScheduleFull-time, Scheduled Days:
Monday – Thursday, Shift: Evening (20:30 – 07:00). On Site.
On Site – Radiology/Imaging Services, Florida Health Sciences Center, Tampa General Hospital.
