SummaryThe Emergency Management Coordinator - works under the direction of the Manager of Emergency Preparedness and is responsible for creating and maintaining All-Hazards Emergency Management plans and Business Continuity Plans to ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation authorities. Supports activations and training/exercise across the organization. Will utilize company vehicles to drive between campuses as needed.
Responsibilities- Create and maintain All-Hazards Emergency Management and business continuity plans.
- Training of individuals serving critical roles outlined in the Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan & Emergency Operations
- Drafts After Actions Reports from incidents and exercises. Facilitates corrective action plans stemming from the Reports.
- Act as a liaison to first responders.
- Outgoing professional with the ability to work closely with a variety of teams and individuals.
- Experience in emergency management.
- Experience in healthcare a plus.
- Minimum Education:
Associates degree in Emergency Management or other related fields plus a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in Emergency Management - (OR) In lieu of an Associates degree, a High school diploma/GED and four years (4) of relevant experience in Emergency Management will be considered.
- (OR) Bachelors degree in Emergency Management and no experience will be considered.
