The Florida Urology Partners team is growing and we hope that you want to join us on this exciting journey!
We are looking for a medical scribe that also has medical assistant skills. The primary duties for the medical scribe are to: document the patient encounter and coordinate subsequent care. You will be assigned to a physician and will shadow the physician as they see patients. This position is a dynamic, full-time position with tremendous opportunity to grow and expand the scope of practice within our organization.
Florida Urology Partners is a fast-paced, hands-on work environment. Self-starters and well-organized individuals are encouraged to apply.
- Accompany the physician into the exam room in order to document each patient's interaction with the doctor.
- Scribes will use the Electronic Health Record (EPIC) system in real-time to provide clinical data as needed during patient encounters.
- Serve as a liaison with our MA, Front Desk, medical office team to coordinate patient care after each encounter.
- Medical Assistant skills such taking blood pressure, weight and general triage skills
- Epic EHR experience desired.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is desired but not required
- Excellent spelling
- Experience using medical terminology
- Past experience in a medical office or as a scribe desired
- Proper grammar and punctuation
- Experience navigating EHR systems, Epic experience desired
