Floor Care Team Lead – Moffitt Cancer Center

Location: Tampa, FL

Job Summary: The Floor Care Team Lead supports team members who clean, polish, and refinish the flooring. The Team Leader will ensure all areas of responsibility are completed by opening and closing the shift, tracking team members' progress, performing quality inspections, providing supplies and equipment, and informing the supervisor on the status of the team’s progress. This position performs a variety of duties that support the team in maintaining a clean environment for patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Open and close the shift.
• Track team members’ progress.
• Perform quality inspections.
• Provide supplies and equipment.
• Inform supervisor of team’s progress status.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Ability to take initiative, follow oral/written instructions and communicate effectively.
• Ability to work independently and unsupervised at times.
• Evidence of a good driving record and maintaining a good record per Moffitt Policy.
• Take ownership of issues and come up with solutions.
• Follow cleaning and disinfecting protocols.
• Manage time and meet deadlines.
• Produce high quality cleaning results.

Credentials and

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Six (6) months of experience may be considered in lieu.
• Two (2) years of customer service experience.
• One (1) year of supervisory or project lead experience (internal candidates with 6 months may be considered).
• One (1) year of floor care experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
