ScheduleOvernight Shift (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
Position SummaryLighthouse Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dependable Overnight Caregiver to provide high-quality care and support to our residents during evening and overnight hours. This role is essential in ensuring resident safety, comfort, and well-being while promoting a calm and secure environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist residents with personal care needs including toileting, bathing, dressing, and repositioning as needed
- Monitor residents throughout the night and respond promptly to call lights and requests
- Ensure resident safety and report any changes in condition to the nurse or supervisor
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Perform light housekeeping and sanitation tasks in resident areas
- Assist with overnight routines and morning prep when needed
- Document care provided per community policies
- Experience in assisted living, memory care, or home health preferred (but willing to train the right candidate)
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable
- Ability to work independently overnight
- Strong communication skills
- Must pass background screening and meet state requirements
