We are seeking a Medical Assistant / EMT to join our Interventional Pain practice. This role is crucial in assisting providers with both clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring efficient patient flow and accurate documentation. It’s an excellent opportunity for gap-year students, aspiring healthcare professionals, or new graduates looking to gain valuable hands-on experience.

• Patient Care & Clinical Support: Room patients and prepare them for their visit.
• Patient vitals: Obtain and record vitals accurately.
• Documentation: Assist providers with documentation of patient encounters and procedures.
• Medical Documentation & Data Entry: Enter patient information into the EMR system.
• Visit Documentation: Complete visit documentation and surgical notes.
• Record-Keeping: Ensure accurate and timely record-keeping.
• Patient Flow: Check-in and check-out patients efficiently.
• Scheduling: Schedule procedures and follow-up appointments.
• Office Tasks: Complete visit-related tasks such as faxing and scanning medical records.

• Strong computer and typing skills (above-average speed preferred).
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical setting.
• Prior healthcare, medical scribing, or EMT experience is a plus but not required.

• Hands-on clinical experience in a growing Interventional Pain practice.
