Join the Boston Scientific Cardiology team as an Electrophysiology Mapping Specialist. This field‑based role provides expert clinical, technical, and educational support during cardiac procedures using the Opal HDx mapping system across a defined territory.
Responsibilities- Maintain advanced clinical knowledge of EP diagnostic and ablation technologies, PFA, mapping and recording systems, transeptal access tools, and left atrial appendage occlusion technologies.
- Attend procedures in cardiac CV/EP labs to provide clinical support on Boston Scientific AF Solutions products, including the Opal HDx mapping system, FARAPULSE, transeptal access tools, diagnostic and therapeutic catheters, and WATCHMAN FLX devices.
- Educate customers on clinical usage and benefits of AF Solutions products through customized presentations and demonstrations.
- Meet with physicians and clinical stakeholders to assess needs and demonstrate how Boston Scientific products support optimal patient outcomes.
- Develop relationships with hospital staff, physicians, and administrators to expand influence and facilitate strategic decision‑making.
- Respond to clinical and technical inquiries by collaborating with sales, clinical research, marketing, and technical support teams.
- Demonstrate change leadership and collaborate cross‑functionally to align local activities with broader strategic goals.
- Implement strategies outlined in quarterly action plans and coordinate efforts with sales teams to advance business objectives.
- Support physician education and market development by engaging referring physicians, fellows, and key opinion leaders.
- Train on and adhere to clinical trial protocols and compliance standards in line with global regulatory expectations.
- Manage clinical trial activity within the territory, including interest visits and site initiation visits, and educate investigators on study procedures and products.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of industry experience in medical device sales, clinical electrophysiology, or equivalent background.
- Demonstrated technical aptitude with the ability to convey complex product details clearly.
- NASPE/IBHRE CEPS certification.
- Experience in atrial fibrillation, cardiac mapping, or structural heart procedures.
- Familiarity with 3D cardiac mapping systems.
Compensation
: $65,000 to $85,000 plus variable compensation governed by the Sales Incentive Compensation Plan, and core and optional benefits available at
