We are seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team in Tampa, FL, specializing in court services. This is a unique opportunity to provide critical mental health support to individuals involved in the legal system, helping to facilitate the rehabilitation process, reduce recidivism, and promote mental well‑being in a challenging but rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide mental health counseling and assessments to clients referred through the court system.
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with judges, probation officers, attorneys, and other court personnel to provide mental health recommendations.
  • Testify in court regarding treatment plans, progress, and recommendations, as needed.
  • Deliver crisis intervention and support to clients during legal proceedings.
  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Participate in multi‑disciplinary meetings to discuss client progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Provide psycho educational services to clients and their families regarding mental health issues and the legal system.
Requirements
  • Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida.
  • Strong knowledge of mental health assessments, treatment planning, and crisis intervention.
  • Experience testifying in court or providing reports for legal proceedings is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multi‑disciplinary team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with individuals with trauma, substance abuse, or co‑occurring disorders.
  • Familiarity with the legal system and court procedures.
  • Ability to handle high‑pressure situations with professionalism and empathy.
