As a Cytotechnologist, you will:

• Perform cytotechnology testing and assist with cytology specimen preparation.
• Support fine needle aspirations and classify/evaluate specimens for pathologist review.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and instrumentation.
• Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Requirement may be waived if certified prior to 1985)

Experience

• 2 years of experience in Cytotechnology preferred.

Licensure/Certification

• ASCP Certified Technologist in Chemistry.
• State of Florida licensure required.
