This role supports our free‑standing ER where responsibilities include both X‑Ray & CT functions. You may also be required to work at either the main campus, South Tampa Hospital and/or West Tampa Hospital.

We are currently seeking a Florida‑licensed CT Technologist on a full‑time/part‑time/PRN/per diem/as‑needed basis to provide computerized assisted tomographic services to patients as ordered by physicians following established standards and practices under the direction of the radiologist. As a CT Technologist for HCA Florida South Tampa Hospital, you will be competent in all of the following: brain, total spine, facial, sinus, orbits, thorax, abdomen, pelvis, upper/lower extremities, sella, and biopsies.

As a CT Technologist, responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Select proper technical factors for study then perform and complete diagnostic CT examinations accurately in a caring, compassionate and respectful manner

• Possess sound and thorough operational knowledge of the CT scanner, pressure injector, resuscitation equipment, laser filmer, and teleradiology system

• Assist in the administration of contrast media and other related procedures

• Prepare, transfer and position patients as needed ensuring modesty, safely utilizing auxiliary equipment and/or devices indicated
