Registration Specialist – USFTGP RCO at Tampa General Hospital
This position is responsible for entering accurate and complete patient demographics and insurance information in the EHR, managing patient information, verifying insurance details, and completing the pre‑registration process for outpatient procedures. The incumbent ensures that patient visits are screened based on assigned payors and missing or incomplete information is obtained.
Requirements- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in healthcare and/or customer‑service related industry with an understanding of patient registration and insurance verification.
- Basic computer skills with demonstrated understanding of Microsoft products.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with repetitive tasks.
