Non-Emergency Wheelchair or Stretcher Transport Driver
Wheelchair Transport Service is hiring for the Non-Emergency Wheelchair or Stretcher Transport Driver role.
OverviewRole:
Non-Emergency Wheelchair or Stretcher Transport Driver.
Location:
Wheelchair Transport Service. Compensation: $16–$20/hr plus per-trip incentives (earn $2+ more/hr on average).
- Provide safe non-emergency transportation for clients to medical appointments.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during transport.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and readiness; document trips as required.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license (5+ years), clean driving record
- Pass Level 2 background check, DOT physical, and Fit for duty test
- CPR/First Aid certification (training provided if needed)
- Able to kneel, bend, lift, walk, and stand for extended periods
- 4% matched 401(k) + extra employer contributions
- Up to 75% of medical insurance paid
