The Work You Will DoThis position is located within the Bureau of Compliance of the Division of Condominiums, Timeshares and Mobile Homes. It is an in-office position and is part of the education team. It is responsible for providing education to the public, presenting material to the public relating to the division’s jurisdictional areas, creating and updating new and existing materials for the public, as well as materials for internal training, participating in public seminars, reviewing for approval of board member certification course materials and conducting public outreach.
YourSpecific Responsibilities
- Educate the public regarding condominium, cooperative and timeshare associations.
- Create PowerPoint presentations that include educational material regarding the Division's program areas.
- Speak with constituents in person and telephonically to provide education regarding the Division's program areas.
- Conduct outreach to the surrounding areas regarding the education program.
- Present to the public in-person and virtually.
- Assist with the development of the Division's brochures, manuals, newsletters, and educational materials.
- Assist with the research, preparation, and dissemination of educational materials.
- Communicate with the supervisor on a daily basis.
- Perform other work as required.
- Conduct travel.
- Two years’ experience in training and/or conducting investigations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
- Proficient in using Word, Excel, and the Division's case management and document management systems.
- Knowledge of the provisions of chapters 326, 718, 719, 721 and 723, Florida Statutes, and the related Florida Administrative Code.
- Ability to assist with research, prepare, review and disseminate educational materials.
- Ability to share information in a training situation.
- With presenting to the public.
- With strong technical skills.
- Who is bilingual in both English and Spanish.
