Position: Chief Financial Officer / Controller
Coastal Pointe Homes has built a strong reputation in Florida through high-quality new construction and seller-financed housing. Now, we are expanding into a fully integrated real estate platform that includes development, seller financing, and a private real estate debt lending fund.

This is not a consulting role.

This is a full-time, in-office executive leadership position responsible for owning the financial architecture of multiple operating entities.

We are seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer who can bring structure, discipline, and long-term strategic clarity to a growing real estate platform.

The Opportunity

You will oversee financial strategy, reporting, compliance, and capital planning across:

• Coastal Pointe Homes (homebuilding and seller financing)

• Additional affiliated entities as we expand

This role requires someone who thrives in complexity, understands real estate finance deeply, and can build institutional-grade financial systems inside an entrepreneurial environment.

Core Responsibilities

• Oversee financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting

• Manage entity-level and consolidated financial statements

• Build scalable accounting infrastructure

• Improve cash flow forecasting and capital allocation discipline

2. Fund Financial Oversight

• Oversee financial operations of the private lending fund

• Monitor pref coverage, liquidity, and portfolio performance

• Coordinate with fund administrator, CPA, and legal counsel

• Ensure alignment between financial model, investor reporting, and operating performance

• Support fundraising and investor diligence

• Oversee financial modeling for new initiatives

• Stress-test deployment and liquidity scenarios

4. Compliance & Governance

• Coordinate Blue Sky filings and regulatory compliance with counsel

• Oversee AML/KYC processes with administrators

• Ensure clean documentation and audit readiness

• Manage risk controls and financial discipline

5. Team & Systems

• Build and manage internal accounting team

• Establish KPIs and executive dashboards

• Drive operational accountability

Experience

• 10+ years in senior financial leadership

• Strong background in real estate, private credit, or private equity

• Experience with fund structures, waterfalls, and investor reporting

• Proven capital markets and modeling expertise

• CPA, CFA, or equivalent experience preferred
