Position Summary
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company and providing strategic leadership to support the continued growth and operational success of Tampa Brass and Aluminum Corp. The CFO will direct financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting while ensuring the company maintains strong financial controls, compliance, and profitability. This role will partner closely with executive leadership to support operational decisions, capital investments, and long-term business strategy.
Key Responsibilities Financial Leadership & StrategyDevelop and implement financial strategies that support company growth and operational efficiency.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to executive leadership regarding business performance, investments, and cost management.
Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
Monitor financial performance and recommend corrective actions when needed.
Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable financial regulations.
Manage cash flow, capital expenditures, and financial risk.
Present financial performance and projections to executive leadership.
Support financial planning related to manufacturing operations, production costs, and capital equipment.
Monitor cost structures including raw materials, labor, and operational expenses.
Implement financial metrics to improve efficiency and profitability.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
Maintain strong internal financial controls and risk management processes.
Coordinate with external auditors, tax professionals, and regulatory agencies.
Lead and mentor the accounting and finance team.
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, financial reporting, and budgeting functions.
Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience.
Experience in manufacturing, metal, or industrial environments strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of financial planning, cost accounting, and operational finance.
Experience managing budgets, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
CPA or MBA certification.
Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing financial systems.
Strong background in cost accounting and production financial analysis.
Ability to support strategic planning and business expansion.
