Cost Accountant

We're partnering with a growing manufacturing organization seeking a Cost Accountant to support production finance, inventory accuracy, and operational decision‑making. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys digging into numbers, improving processes, and working closely with operations.

• Maintain and update standard costs while reviewing production variances and cost drivers
• Reconcile inventory and WIP accounts and support ongoing inventory control activities
• Participate in cycle counts, physical inventories, and discrepancy investigations
• Prepare cost reports, margin analysis, and month‑end close entries
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and KPI tracking for manufacturing operations
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain to improve cost accuracy and support new product costing
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and strengthen internal controls

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2-5+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing setting
• Strong understanding of standard costing and ERP systems
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capability
• Ability to communicate financial insights to non‑finance teams
• Solid knowledge of GAAP and strong attention to detail
