- Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Maintain clean, organized documentation that supports strong internal controls.
- Review monthly results against budget and prior periods.
- Investigate and explain cost fluctuations and performance trends.
- Partner with department leaders to understand operational drivers behind financial results.
- Highlight risks, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities.
- Assist with budgeting and periodic forecasting.
- Track performance against projections and provide insight into emerging trends.
- Contribute to cash flow and financial planning discussions.
- Identify ways to streamline reporting and accounting workflows.
- Build and improve Excel-based reporting tools and models.
- Support ERP optimization and technology initiatives.
- Participate in automation and AI-driven process improvements.
- Strong foundation in accounting principles.
