- Serve as the primary liaison and point of contact for internal and external stakeholders from deal approval through closing, and throughout the life-of-loan servicing and monitoring cycle.
- Manage the deal pipeline in partnership with Relationship Managers, leading coordination with downstream internal stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient closings.
- Coordinate, review, and facilitate closing documentation with legal counsel or internal document preparation teams, ensuring alignment with due diligence, application processing, insurance requirements, operational feasibility, execution mechanics, and regulatory standards.
- Support transaction execution and end-to-end process flow, proactively escalating issues and designing solutions to ensure risks are mitigated through appropriate controls and protections.
- Order and assemble required documentation to complete loan files and prepare supplemental documentation as needed.
- Partner with loan closing and servicing teams to ensure accurate loan booking, accrual reconciliation, and daily cash position reporting.
- Ensure initial loan funding (including draws at closing) and ongoing life-of-loan activities—such as payments, draws, and payoffs—are accurately processed and recorded.
- Review loan documentation for accuracy and completeness prior to closing and independently close loans when required.
- Communicate proactively with Lenders regarding issues, exceptions, or delays identified prior to closing.
