Our client is seeking a well-rounded, experienced, and dynamic Tax Partner to join their Tampa office. Recognized as one of the most respected and established firms in the Tampa Bay area & Region, this opportunity marks the beginning of a strategic succession plan as several senior partners approach retirement over the next few years. While a book of business is not required, prior experience as a Tax Partner is essential.

The firm is looking for a seasoned professional who can bring leadership, mentorship, and stability—providing guidance to a younger generation of partners as long-standing partners begin transitioning their client relationships. • Lead and manage the tax department to deliver top-notch tax services to our clients.
• Develop and implement strategic tax planning for all necessary federal and state taxes.
• Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring they receive high-quality service delivery.
• Advise clients on tax planning and tax issues associated with activities such as business acquisitions and mergers.
• Maintain ongoing relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and identifying new business opportunities.
• Prepare and review complex tax planning projections for individual and corporate clients.
• Participate in the growth and development of our firm, including the training and mentoring of staff.
• Keep up-to-date with changes in tax regulations to ensure the firm's compliance.
• Collaborate with other departments within the firm to ensure the integration of tax services.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive tax experience in a public accounting firm.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.
• Strong technical skills in tax planning, consulting, and compliance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and deliver high-quality service.
