SOX Compliance Manager

The Senior SOX Compliance Manager leads the organization’s Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance program, ensuring effective internal controls over financial reporting. This role partners closely with Finance, Internal Audit, and external auditors to strengthen risk management practices and support accurate, compliant financial reporting.

• Own and oversee the SOX 404 compliance framework, including scoping, testing, documentation, and remediation
• Lead and mentor a compliance team, providing direction, performance feedback, and professional development
• Coordinate directly with external auditors to support quarterly and annual SOX audits
• Evaluate risks and internal controls, identifying control gaps and driving sustainable improvements
• Advise business partners on internal control requirements and regulatory expectations
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to controls, governance, and compliance

• 8+ years of progressive experience in SOX compliance, audit, risk management, or accounting
• 3+ years of people management or team leadership experience
• Strong working knowledge of SOX 404 requirements and internal control frameworks
• Prior experience in public accounting (Big 4 strongly preferred)
