Tax Accountant

Leeds Professional Resources is working with a client in the 33605 area of Tampa that is looking for a Tax Accountant.

• Assist in preparing and filing all tax returns for individuals, trusts, foundations, LLCs/partnerships, corporate entities, and gift tax
• Maintain tax calendars and ensure timely filings, estimated payments, extensions, and disclosures
• Manage tax document requirements for individuals, trusts, foundations, partnerships and gifts
• Oversee database management of, and third-party access to, tax documents
• Assist the accounting team in recording tax journal entries
• Manage process of drafting returns and execution and mailing of final returns
• Provide feedback on tax engagement processes and recommend improvements
• Draft, document, and deliver responses to tax notices, audits, and information requests
• Document taxable events for future reporting consideration
• Develop tax projections to aid in tax planning strategies
• Conduct tax research to formulate tax strategy for family clients and investment entities

• Assist in process design for tax, risk management, and financial planning functions to ensure seamless service delivery using the firm’s digital family office software
• Maintain thorough tax and financial documentation, work papers, and records
• Support quarterly and annual reporting and other governance requirements
