Analytics Analyst / Associate
- Maintain and enhance financial models to reflect evolving market conditions, deal structures, and fund strategies, ensuring accuracy and relevance for ongoing decision-making.
- Develop, improve, and automate reporting dashboards and analytics tools to enhance transparency, efficiency, and real-time insights across funds and portfolios.
- Prepare data-driven materials for investor presentations, fundraising efforts, internal meetings, and management updates.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects and analytical initiatives, including building and maintaining clear work streams, timelines, and deliverables across stakeholders.
- Support project management, documentation, and reporting workflows using tools such as Notion or similar project and knowledge management systems.
- Conduct scenario, sensitivity, and stress-testing analyses to evaluate the impact of market shifts, operational changes, and investment decisions.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across multiple systems, data sources, and reporting environments; partner with operations and technology teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Support ad‑hoc analyses related to fund performance, valuation methodologies, market trends, and investment strategy.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
- 3‑5 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, corporate finance, valuation, consulting, or a financial analytics role (title level adjusted based on experience).
- Strong financial modeling skills, including proficiency with Excel and experience building and maintaining complex models.
- Familiarity with valuation methodologies (DCF, market comps, precedent transactions, option‑pricing methods, etc.).
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx) and/or programming skills in Python, SQL, or R preferred.
- Exceptional analytical ability with strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Ability to distill large data sets into clear insights and communicate them effectively to senior stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across investment, operations, and technology teams.
