Accounting Manager; Hybrid

Location: Tampa, FL (Hybrid - 3 days in office)

Salary: $110,000 - $120,000 + Bonus

Our team has partnered with a Tampa-based CFO in their search for a hands on Accounting Manager to serve as a key strategic partner. This is a unique opportunity for a professional who thrives in the building phase of a company and wants to work directly with a seasoned executive during a period of hyper growth.

We are looking for a leader who is comfortable managing the full cycle of day to day accounting operations with the clear expectation that you will architect the department and lead the accounting team as the company continues to scale. This is a ground floor seat where you will help build the financial infrastructure and grow into an expanded leadership role as the company footprint expands.

• Manage all general ledger functions including payables, receivables, fixed assets, and banking
• Lead the month end close process to ensure accurate reconciliations and financial integrity
• Establish standardized close schedules and review procedures to maintain audit ready accounts in adherence to GAAP
• Oversee the external audit process and coordinate with outside CPA firms for tax requests and filings
• Drive ERP system implementations and automate financial close activities to support multiple platforms
• Maintain inventory management controls and purchasing oversight to support operational scaling and cost savings
• Partner with the CFO to hire, mentor, and develop the accounting team as the business grows

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, PE-Backed experience (preferred)
• Strong expertise in GAAP, entity consolidation, and inventory control
• Proficiency in ERP systems with a track record of supporting system implementations
