We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager with a strong understanding of financial management and accounting principles to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, and ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards. The individual must have excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Manage month‑end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and variance analyses for management review.
- Develop and maintain job costing systems to track project expenses, labor costs, and profitability by client and campaign.
- Analyze job cost data to identify cost overruns, budget variances, and opportunities for improved profitability.
- Prepare monthly financial analysis reports highlighting key performance indicators, trends, and actionable insights.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Assist with financial audits and tax filings.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and discrepancies.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Manage payroll processing.
- Present financial reports and job cost analyses to management and provide recommendations for improved financial performance.
- Contribute to the improvement of accounting processes and internal controls.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial compliance and clarity.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- 3‑5 years of experience in accounting or related field.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, SAP) and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
