• Prepare and Submit Tax Filings:
  Ensure accurate preparation and submission of payroll-related tax filings, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for federal, state, and local jurisdictions. Handle amendments as needed.
• Tax Payment Oversight and Compliance:
  Execute electronic tax payments through EFTPS and other platforms, monitor legislative and regulatory updates, and maintain accurate tax configurations within payroll systems to ensure compliance.
• Client Support and Issue Resolution:
  Address client inquiries regarding tax matters, manage urgent tax-related issues and notices, and provide timely follow-up to guarantee resolution and clear communication.
• Tax Configuration and Reconciliation:
  Set up and validate tax structures for new and existing accounts, ensuring all data is balanced and consistent across systems.
• Collaboration and Process Optimization:
  Work closely with team members to provide coverage when needed, identify recurring issues or inefficiencies, and recommend enhancements to improve accuracy and streamline workflows.

• MS Excel:
  Macros

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Must have (2)+ years of recent, direct experience with quarterly return filing for payroll tax
• MS Excel:
  Formals, pivot tables
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Background check required
