Job SummaryThis temporary position processes customer transactions for a variety of routine to more complex financial transactions, including but not limited to check cashing, account withdrawals and deposits. The teller is responsible for balancing cash drawers, assisting customers with product line information and providing a quality customer experience. They identify and refer sales opportunities to appropriate bank personnel to meet individual and department goals, supporting the organization’s goals & values.

- Relationship Building:

- Understand customer‑facing technology and enroll customers in self‑service products.
- Operations:
- Process checks, cash and sale of negotiable instrument transactions per bank policies.
- Ensure branch adherence to AML/BSA requirements, audit procedures, operational procedures, dual control, security, Business Continuity and all other regulated banking requirements.
- Assist in remediating audit / scorecard / QC deficiencies.
- Resolve customer concerns in a timely, professional manner and escalating as needed.
- Balance cash drawer daily and monitor own work for accuracy.
- Respond to management direction for difficult customer objections.
- Adhere to Seacoast Bank’s Code of Conduct.
- Follow all safety and security procedures.
- May be assigned vault responsibilities.
- Education and/or
Experience:- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 6 months cash handling experience required.
- Minimum of 6 months previous experience in retail sales and/or financial services preferred.
- Flexible schedule required with ability to work during hours of operations, including weekends and occasional non‑bank operational hours.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and exercise initiative.
- PC proficiency in Desktop, Laptop, Tablet, and Smartphone devices as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
