FBC is hiring seasoned Mortgage Loan Originators in our Tampa, FL branch!
Job Requirements
Responsibilities- Proactively identify, develop and maintain a quality network of business relationships to source new mortgage lending opportunities (e.g., realtors, builders, professional and personal contacts).
- Participate in business development opportunities, community efforts to promote home ownership, and professional organizations.
- Interview new and existing customers to determine financial needs and advise on appropriate products, terms, and pricing.
- Navigate borrowers through the loan process and gather required information through clear and timely communication.
- Submit clear, accurate loan documentation and ensure compliance with industry regulations while meeting sales goals and objectives.
- 3+ years of retail residential mortgage origination experience
- Documented residential mortgage loans closed volume in the past 12 months of $750,000 – $1,000,000 per month in production
- Established relationships with local referral networks
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication across diverse audiences
- Proficient in product guidelines for Conventional, FHA, and VA loans
- Strong PC skills and experience using laptop technology
- Meet and comply with all requirements for Mortgage Loan Originators under the SAFE Act, including successful completion of required background checks and active NMLS licensure
