EY is a global consulting firm dedicated to building a better working world by creating innovative solutions for its clients. The AI Finance Manager role is part of EY’s Tech Consulting practice, helping clients transform finance processes through data strategy, AI, and cloud technologies.

EY is helping businesses realize the value of their IT investments by improving finance process efficiency, enterprise intelligence, and program transformations. The AI Finance Manager will support the Finance Applications Data Lead in executing the data‑management strategy for finance applications and develop EY’s AI Finance service offering.

• Work closely with finance, IT, and data‑science teams to support the effective management and utilisation of finance application data.
• Lead the delivery of complex technical initiatives, ensuring accountability for performance and results.
• Collaborate with technical teams to design and deliver system architecture solutions.
• Drive continuous process improvement by identifying innovative solutions through research and analysis.
• Develop and implement EY’s AI Finance Blueprint, ensuring consistency, interoperability, and scalability across finance applications.
• Partner with data scientists to apply Machine Learning and Gen AI techniques to finance applications and personas.
• Maintain a robust data governance framework for the EY Fin Tech Blueprint.
• Provide high‑quality technical guidance and coaching to junior consultants and delivery teams.
• Engage with clients daily, manage project timelines, risks, and deliverables.

• Bachelor’s degree (or graduate degree with equivalent experience) and at least 4–5 years of related work experience.
• Minimum of years of experience in data management, including at least 1 year focused on finance application data, data modelling, and financial modelling.
• Strong understanding of data‑management principles (data governance, data quality, master data management).
• Experience with Machine Learning techniques, Gen AI technologies, and Azure data services (e.g., Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, MS SQL, Python).
• Knowledge of finance applications and financial modelling (PnL, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Proficiency in data integration, transformation, and modelling tools and techniques.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

• Ability to build strong client relationships at all levels.
• Track record of delivering quality client services on time and within budget.
• Effectively manage risks and keep stakeholders informed.
• Lead and motivate diverse engagement teams.
• Mentor junior consultants and foster an inclusive environment.
• Support the execution of finance data‑management strategy and integration with related initiatives.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive data dictionaries, ER diagrams, and lineage maps.
• Stay current with advances in ML, Gen AI, and Azure technologies and propose innovative solutions.
