** THE JOB
**** WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
**** Objectives of the Role
*** Provide an exceptional merchandise purchasing experience for all guests and fans in Live Nation venues.
* Fulfill the order of guests in a timely fashion, ensuring they receive the correct items and sizes as requested.
* Accurately ring-up guest purchases in Live Nation’s sales system
* Act as a brand ambassador for Live Nation, its local sponsors, and the venue
** Duties & Responsibilities
*** Participate in inventory count-in and count-out procedures.
* Create visually appealing displays and price items correctly.
* Complete sales transactions for each guest
* Support successful sales operations at each event.
* Contribute to a positive work environment.
* Perform physical duties as required by the role, such as moving equipment or transferring merchandise between locations.
* Take direction from their supervisor, the venue’s Merchandise Manager
** WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
**** Skills & Qualifications
*** Specialists are detail oriented, supporting accuracy and completeness in order fulfillment.
* Specialists are quick thinking and able to respond to guest requests.
* Specialists are guest oriented, focusing on their requests.
* Specialists must be team-driven, working as part of a larger unit.
* Specialists need the ability to interact with guests politely.
* Specialists should be self-starters that do not require significant supervision.
* Specialists must have basic math skills – addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
** Experience
* ** Guest service positions desirable
* Retail sales backgrounds not necessary
* Positions that leverage customer service or hospitality
* Prior experience is not as important as the appropriate attitude and interpersonal skills.
** Job Requirements
*** Must be available for the entire concert day, with shifts as long as 15 hours (with breaks)
* Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
* Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs using proper lifting techniques.
