Responsibilities- Supervise slot floor operations, ensuring compliance with Department policies, procedures and gaming regulations.
- Organize daily employee assignments, break schedules and staffing levels to meet business needs.
- Provide exceptional guest service, responding to service requests, machine service lights, and radio calls.
- Verify slot payouts and notify maintenance of repairs; strive to meet revenue goals.
- Coach and evaluate staff, conducting personnel counseling and training.
- Promote departmental and property promotions to guests.
- Maintain a clean, safe and hazard‑free work environment.
- Monitor play for honesty and integrity, preventing theft and safeguarding casino property.
- Communicate key business information, staff issues and play irregularities to management.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by shift manager or director.
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least six months of progressive supervisory or dual‑rate experience in slot operations.
- Advanced knowledge of slot machines, video poker and Keno.
- Experience with PC‑based casino software.
- Strong leadership, confidentiality and diplomacy skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours and various shifts.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Position performed on the casino floor in a fast‑paced, guest‑smoking environment with constant exposure to general public and noise.
- Regular standing, walking, use of hands and arms, and handling of frequent tasks; frequent lifting of up to 30 lbs.
- Requires good vision and ability to adjust focus.
The Tribal Council provides preference in hiring, training, promotion and other employment practices to members of the Seminole Tribe of Florida and other federally recognized Native American tribes who meet the job requirements.
