Senior CAD Designer

OVERVIEW:

The Senior CAD Designer will provide technical AutoCAD Civil 3D support of Civil Engineering Water/Wastewater design projects as part of a multi-discipline project team to produce design/construction drawings and specifications on some REALLY COOL projects!

DURING YOUR WORKDAY, YOU WILL:

* This person will work in a project team setting and support the designers and engineers with development of AutoCAD drawing files.

* Manage project assignments and coordinates with other CAD staff.

* Produce plans, profiles, cross-sections, elevations, structure sections, construction details, references, and perspective drawings.

* Manage CAD drawing files for production, deliverables and archiving.

* Prepare drawings for various members of the project team.

* Coordinate with others outside of the project team as necessary for project development.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

* High school diploma or GED and college level CAD classes.

* 10 + years of experience using AutoCAD (2022 (or newer)

* Must be methodical, precise, and consistent but enjoys some variety in work schedule and can tolerate change.

* Enjoys working alone when required but can work effectively on a project team.

* Good technical design skills required.

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT:

* Knowledge of Revit preferred

* Experience working on water infrastructure projects (i.e. water distribution and wastewater collection/pumping projects) preferred.
