The Building Enclosure is responsible for creating environmental separation between controlled interior conditions and the uncontrolled exterior environment. As building enclosure systems become increasingly complex, there is a corresponding increase in demand for engineering consulting services to verify the performance of these systems.

• Demonstrated ability to learn the basics of design and analyses within his or her discipline.
• An individual with potential for employment and growth within the firm.
• Incumbent must be able to operate a computer to check email and to produce documents using a software program.
• Incumbent shall be able to traverse and navigate construction sites to inspect work done by contractors.
• Manipulates plans periodically. Must be able to lift plans weighting 30 pounds.
• Assists the team at construction sites performing system and material functional testing.
• Willingness to be on active construction sites anywhere from 1 to 5 days a week as demand requires.
• Willingness to travel to construction sites including out of state.
• Learn about building enclosure systems including roofing, wall, glazing, and waterproofing.
