What a day at EXP has in store for youThe ideal individual will be responsible for performing technical and professional planning services associated with the daily operations of EXP’s Transportation Group. The candidate will help us address current and comprehensive planning issues involving development review, zoning administration, and preparation tasks associated with comprehensive plan implementation, master planning and strategic planning.
Responsibilities- Provide technical oversight for transit projects, master plans, strategic planning and public outreach efforts
- Monitor and ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws
- Perform and manage planning projects, research and analysis
- Help define regional/local transportation planning problems and priorities
- Recommend improvements on existing transportation systems
- Recommend new transportation projects
- Support Policy Planning
- Attend meetings to represent FDOT with other agencies
- Attendance at meetings and public forums
- Review technical reports
- Prepare and deliver presentations
- Compile, organize and analyze data
- Bachelor’s degree in urban and regional planning, engineering, geography, public administration, English or directly related field in planning.
- Ability to travel
