Description

As the CAD Technician, you will be responsible for production of CAD deliverables as well as having knowledge of surveying and mapping principles. A candidate with experience with Micro Station, Openroads, Utility, and Scan Extraction experience is ideal.

Your Primary Responsibilities will include

* Keep up with current technology and changes to the software programs used.

* Perform calculations for field crews and mapping as needed.

* Analyze deeds and research materials for the production of the survey.

* Utilize FDOT or DRMP checklist throughout the performance of each project

* Extracting linework and features from point clouds utilizing Topo Dot software.

* Willingness to learn.

What you'll need

* FDOT experience is a plus.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Extensive technical knowledge of CADD systems; including Micro Station, Geopak, ORD, Civil 3D, Excel, and Microsoft Office Suite.

* Excellent organizational skills.

* Excellent time management skills.

* Attention to detail and working efficiently and accurately are necessary.
