Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000 / year

Join our team as a Building Automation Project Engineer in Tampa and make an impact on large scale Hospital projects. You’ll work on integrating HVAC, lighting, energy management, and security systems into high-performance buildings, collaborating closely with field teams and clients.

Tampa:
Entry Level: $75,000-$96,000
Experienced: $96,000-$110,000+

• Design and implement building automation systems based on project needs
• Integrate HVAC, lighting, security, and energy platforms
• Create system schematics, wiring diagrams, and control sequences
• Program controllers, sensors, and automation devices
• Support final commissioning and provide technical assistance to field teams and end users
• Stay current with industry standards, technologies, and best practices
• Ensure projects meet safety codes and regulatory requirements

• Experience with building automation systems (Niagara, Distech, ACAD preferred)
• Knowledge of protocols like BACnet, Modbus, or Lon Works
• Strong understanding of HVAC, lighting, energy, and security systems
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
• Degree in engineering or relevant field, or equivalent experience
• Willingness to travel to client sites as needed

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel, and reach as needed.
• Ability to walk active job sites, including climbing stairs and ladders and navigating uneven surfaces.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to wear required PPE during site visits.
