Position OverviewJoin our Water Infrastructure team to deliver high‑quality water, wastewater, and recycled water services to municipal clients across the United States.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate work with junior engineers and manage schedule and budget for larger projects.
- Communicate progress and issues to project teams and keep stakeholders updated.
- Lead design or portions of design, including solids removal, nutrient removal, membrane treatment, and pump selection.
- Work with multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors (civil, mechanical, structural, electrical, etc.).
- Perform Construction Administration: review submittals, RFIs, and payment applications.
- Guide designers/drafters in AutoCAD drawing production.
- Make technical decisions independently or with oversight.
- Simultaneously manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Mentor staff on technical assignments and review their work.
- Engage with suppliers, subcontractors, clients, and regulatory agencies.
- Assist with proposals and new opportunity pursuits.
- Participate in professional organizations.
- 4–9 years of engineering experience.
- B.S. in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering.
- Registered Professional Engineer a plus; a Florida P.E. license obtainable within one year preferred.
- Technical expertise in water and wastewater treatment, solids handling, nutrient removal, extended aeration, membrane treatment, pump sizing, and process piping.
- Experience preparing design documents, engineering reports, and contract documents.
- Knowledge of wastewater and water operational methods is a plus.
- Experience in municipal wastewater systems, bioslids and renewable energy, drinking water distribution and treatment is also a plus.
$90,000 – $110,000 per year, with final salary based on experience and geographic differential.
