Senior Civil Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned Civil/Structural Engineer to lead design efforts for complex industrial projects. This role is responsible for ensuring technical accuracy, regulatory compliance, and on-time, on-budget project delivery.

• Serve as Lead Engineer and seal civil/structural deliverables when required
• Perform and review structural calculations; develop specifications and construction drawings
• Design steel and reinforced concrete structures, foundations, and equipment supports
• Support site development including drainage, underground utilities, and related infrastructure
• Review CAD models and drawings for quality and accuracy
• Mentor engineers and designers while coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams
• Develop scope documents, staffing plans, material take-offs, and man-hour estimates
• Contribute to internal standards, procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Travel domestically and internationally as project needs require

• B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering
• 15+ years of experience in refining, chemical, pharmaceutical, fertilizer, or similar heavy industrial sectors
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license; NCEES record preferred
• Proficiency in STAAD.Pro, spMats, sp Column, and Microsoft Office
• Working knowledge of Micro Station, AutoCAD, Brics
  
  CAD, and Navisworks (including 3D laser scan integration)
• Strong understanding of IBC, ASCE-7, OSHA, Florida Building Code, and related standards
