Arcadis seeks a Senior Traffic Analyst/ Project Manager to join our transportation team in Orlando, FL. You will have the opportunity to work alongside senior program managers, project managers, and engineers to lead the delivery for programs and projects across Florida. This role will sit within the larger Global Mobility Business Area. RoleAccountabilities
- Serve as client‑facing project manager on traffic engineering projects with a focus on improving safety and operations.
- Develop and manage scope, schedule, and budget for projects and programs.
- Provide written and verbal updates on the status of projects to clients and internal senior management.
- Present technical results and recommendations to clients.
- Coordinate with a wide range of subject matter experts including survey, roadway design, and environmental to successfully deliver client projects.
- Work with client managers and operational leaders to develop project pursuit strategies and plans.
- Utilize knowledge and experience conducting and documenting traffic studies following nationally accepted modeling practice.
- Assist engineers in developing technical approaches and review technical results prepared by others.
- Lead project team in the preparation of traffic engineering plans for signal designs, signing and marking designs, conceptual designs for intersections, and/or Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) designs.
- Under leadership of senior program managers, coordinate and interface with clients to discuss technical elements of the project and present analysis results.
- Provide training and guidance to junior engineers and interns in areas of technical proficiency and consultancy.
- Understanding of the use of traffic analysis tools including VISSIM, Sidra, Synchro/Sim Traffic, and HCS.
- Understanding of the application of traffic operations principles including ITE, MUTCD, AASHTO, and state DOT requirements, policies, manuals and procedures.
- Experience/familiarity with Microstation and/or Bentley Open Roads.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well in groups as well as independently.
- 10+ years of relevant work experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Ability to obtain Florida PE within one 2 months of hire.
- Must possess a U.S. Driver’s License.
- Experience in operational and/or safety analysis.
- Experience with Traffic Analysis and Engineering principles.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: FDOT design standards, ITS design, traffic operations studies, intersection conceptual drafting, or safety studies.
- Master’s Degree in Transportation Engineering.
- Experience managing large tasks and/or projects.
- Experience with FDOT clients and projects.

& Salary
Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. These benefits include medical, dental, and vision, EAP, 401K, STD, LTD, AD&D, life insurance, paid parental leave, reward & recognition program and optional wellbeing benefits, adoption assistance and tuition reimbursement. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year.
Salary range: $113,933–$193,686. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
