The Process Engineering Technician supports the engineering team in the installation, documentation, calibration, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, and optical equipment. This is a hands‑on position involving: technical work, data collection, and assisting engineers with projects.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES- Assist engineers with installation, calibration, and preventive maintenance of equipment.
- Perform inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of components.
- Collect, record, and analyze technical data and measurements.
- Prepare technical reports, logs, and maintenance documentation.
- Perform calibration and verification of tools and test equipment per procedures.
- Maintain calibration records and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Support development and delivery of technical training materials and hands‑on training activities.
- Create, update, and maintain engineering prints, drawings, and technical documentation.
- Ensure prints and documentation reflect current designs and build requirements.
- Support prototypes build, rework, and engineering changes.
- Collaborate with production
- Basic understanding of calibration practices and technical documentation.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills (MS office)
- 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to interpret technical data, drawings and process documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or engineering technology.
- Familiarity with CAD tools 3D - (Solidworks) and 2D - AutoCAD
- Hands on experience with test and measurement equipment.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate across departments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
