Drainage Engineer

Overview

Job Description Dewberry is seeking a Drainage Engineer in our Tampa, FL office to grow and strengthen our transportation design practice. • Prepare drainage plans and reports for transportation projects
• Perform and collaborate on drainage analyses with other Drainage staff
• Train, mentor, and oversee the completion and accuracy of work performed by junior Drainage Department Staff
• Communicate effectively with internal team members, subconsultants, and clients
• Meet and build strong working relationships with clients and permitting agencies
• Assist with the development of marketing and project pursuit materials

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• 2+ years of relevant FDOT drainage design experience
• Florida EIT license preferred
• Experience with FDOT drainage design criteria
• Experience with permitting requirements of Florida Water Management Districts
• Strong desire to be a key contributor in an outstanding team of industry-leading professionals
