Senior Electrical Engineer PE (Healthcare Projects) – Hybrid
Base pay range: $/yr – $/yr.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Project Engineer/Project Manager to join our team in the Greater Tampa Bay Area. Successful candidates will have experience delivering design/build and renovation projects, ideally for healthcare, hospitals, and medical facilities, as well as commercial, education, government, and transportation projects. Candidates must have consulting experience managing multiple projects at various stages, including all planning, design, production, quality control, and financial responsibilities.
- Design and manage electrical, power, lighting, and building systems on complex projects, including new constructionaglia and renovation.
- Provide technical leadership and professional guidance to project and design teams.
- Mentor junior staff and coordinate activities of all team members to meet production schedules and quality standards.
- Ensure project deliverables meet client expectations, local building codes, and industry standards.
- Oversee cost planning, construction cost and life cycle analysis, and budgetary management for moderate to complex projects.
- Represent the electrical discipline at client and internal meetings.
- 10+ years of experience designing and managing electrical/MEP projects in engineering consulting or design/build environments.
- Proven experience as an electrical engineer designing power and lighting building systems on complex projects. Experience delivering new construction and/or renovation projects for healthcare, hospitals, and medical facilities; additional projects in commercial, education, government, or transportation are a plus.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit software.
- Experience with construction costs, life cycle analysis, and moderate to complex project management.
- Ability to schedule and manage tasks for the electrical discipline.
- Demonstrated success in technical and formal communication with clients and staff.
- Proven ability to represent the electrical discipline at meetings.
- Ability to mentor junior level staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with losing building codes and standards.
- Strong technical leadership and management skills.
