The Aeromechanical Engineer must be a highly motivated, hands-on, self-driven team player that has the ability to perform in a dynamic prototyping environment. The preferred candidate will be able to bring a fresh perspective to the design team and have a strong desire for innovation. Essential Functions

• Develop and analyze mechanical systems for aircraft and spacecraft, including engines, airframes, and avionics.

• Conduct simulations, testing, and prototyping to validate designs and ensure they meet performance and safety requirements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical, software, and systems engineers, to integrate mechanical systems into larger aerospace systems.

• Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for potential mechanical failures.

• Design and oversee the manufacturing and assembly processes of mechanical components, ensuring they meet quality and performance standards.

• Maintain accurate documentation of designs, processes, and test results. Standard Essential Functions

• Proficiency in CAD software, such as Solid Works or CATIA.

• Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).

• Strong knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and quality control procedures.

• Understanding of regulatory and industry standards, such as FAA regulations, AS9100, and ISO 9001.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Education / Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.

• Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus. Experience

• 0-3 years of experience in aerospace or a related industry.
