We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to support manufacturing and development of ONTO SDI’s measurement equipment for the Semiconductor industry. The position of Electrical Engineer shall be based in ONTO SDI, Tampa, FL. Electrical Engineer will report to Engineering Manager, who will oversee specific tasks and work schedule.
Qualifications- minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) and have 5 years background experience in electromechanical design and manufacturing.

- highly self‑motivated individual willing to take initiative in both solo and teamwork environments.
- ability to work under pressure and tight timelines, thrive in a fast‑paced, multi‑discipline environment.

- Additional Qualifications and Areas of Responsibilities shall include:
- Altium Designer proficie
- AutoCAD Mechanical proficie
- Experience with Autodesk Inventor and/or Solidwor
- Experience in PCB design, both low and high frequen
- Experience with electrical layouts and design (AC and DC)
- Experience working on industrial equipment interlock and EMO safety system
- Experience working with and maintaining NRTL safety and electrical certificatio
- Strong technical writing skills
- Experience working in a production and R&D environm
- Background working with programmable instruments, motion controllers, oscilloscopes, and power supl
- Extensive hands‑on experience with mechanical and electrical assembl
- Extensive experience working independently, assembly technicians or other engineers troubleshooting electrical issues, improving designs, and developing new on

Compensation will be a base salary + health / retirement benefits in accordance with ONTO policy. Domestic and International travel may be required up to ~10% of time.
Compensation & Benefit Range: $66,080.00 - $99,120.00, offered in good faith and based on experience, location and qualifications. Additional Rewards:
Annual bonus opportunities and potential long‑term incentives tied to both company and individual success.
