A&P Mechanic-Aerospace Industry

Location:

Tampa, Florida

Identifies and corrects malfunctioning jet, turboprop and reciprocating aircraft, components and systems on Textron Aviation products. Performs routine, preventative and AOG maintenance/inspections and modifications on customer aircraft.

• Perform a variety of mechanical duties on various Textron Aviation manufactured aircraft, systems and components involving diagnosis of malfunctions, required disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly or adjustment of various aircraft systems
• Perform airframe and turbine, turboprop or reciprocating engine troubleshooting, inspection, repair and assist with ground runs
• Use of equipment such as tensiometers, micrometers, pressure gauges, dial gauges, vacuum gauges, timing lights, variety of hand tools and specialty aircraft tooling
• Document work performed within aircraft maintenance operating system via assigned laptop
• Maintain safe work environment following company policy and procedures common to aviation maintenance

Education Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent, A&P License

Required Qualifications:

5 years corporate aircraft experience

Preferred Qualifications:

5+ years Textron Aviation aircraft experience

Compensation: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
